Outreach Team
 in action...
 On May 20th 2010, Dallas Thunder girls and their sisters bowled a few games together at Plano Superbowl. The Thunder girls also donated baby items for the Pregnancy Resource Center of Dallas. Later on we ate delicious burgers at Fuddruckers. Some of the girls also enjoyed giving each other facials with the various sauces available on the table! We had a blast and can't wait for the next event! Our prayer is that the moms and little ones feel God's love with the items that we donated!
The Dallas Thunder had a great time serving City
Church International with their Neighborhood Picnic Outreach. Dallas
Thunder players and parents served food, sorted clothes, blew up balloons,
worked in the petting zoo, registered guests and generally served where ever
needed. It was a large turn out of the neighborhood and Dallas Thunder
found themselves to be quite busy. All were blessed by this opportunity
and everyone enjoyed the fellowship. Thanks to all the hard workers that
coordinated this event.
The next Thunder Outreach opportunity is October 17th at City Church. This is a great opportunity to help AND a free lunch for all Thunder players that participate. We will meet at City Church International at 9:15 and work until noon.

We have the opportunity to help one of our own families that is in
need of necessities such as food and paper goods. If you are able to
bring any of the following (particularly food items) to this coming
Wednesday's ( June 17th) practice at the Sportsplex from 4-6p.m., it would be a big
blessing to this family.
1.
Non perishable food items, such as soup,
pasta and sauce, fruit roll up type items, peanut butter, jelly,
crackers(triscuits, etc.), cookies, juice boxes, etc,
2. Paper towels and toilet paper.
