Thunder Bible Challenge Champions announced
Updated:  04/05/2009 at 9:25 PM
If you were not at the Devotional last night at the Comfort Inn in Springfield, Mo., you missed out on an exciting time, as Padre Chris announced the Champions for the Thunder Bible Challenge.  Padre Chris made the challenge to Thunder players last year in Oklahoma City, OK.. The challenge was to read your bible every day and to pray every day for the next year.  Any player who could stay committed for a year, would receive $200 as an incentive. Padre Chris repeated several great testimonies which came from the players participating in the Challenge and I am sure the testimonies will keep coming.

Three Thunder players reported that they had not missed a day since the challenge began; Mariah Hightower, Jake Gigl and Cory Pollard were recognized as the Champions of the Challenge.

An additional dozen players were recognized for missing less than 10 days throughout the Challenge; Hannah Hightower, Lauren Pelegreen, David Garrett, Amanda Williams, Cole Johnson, Joseph Pelegreen, Mason De Loache, Josh Parker, Laura Lynn De Loache, Erina McClure, Ethan Glaess and Mary Moss.

Congratulations to everyone who made the commitment and stuck with it.
